Ghost in my Machine
Atlast, the truth is out, my machine is haunted !! I installed Google toolbar last week ( pretty good utility, i hope it is famous). When i restarted the machine ( i normally shutdown when i leave in the evening, Fear of the "dark" ), the toolbar is gone. I checked all the settings and i was forced to believe that i hadn't installed the toolbar. I installed it again and when i restarted the machine, voila ! Its gone !!
Sometime back, when i was using IE, some software got installed without my permission ! I had to struggle a lot to clean up the mess. My machine wont shutdown, i need to "pull the plug" to bring it to a halt !!
