Valentine's day post

Here is an excerpt from the chat conversation that happened today between me and my friend K, who is in the middle east.

me: Thanks and wish you the same!!
K: Enakku inniku illada...[I dont celebrate it today]
me: Why? You are in a time zone much ahead of Central time zone, it should be Feb 14 there today right?
K: Yeah, but enakku nalaiku...Iyengarku dhan inniku, Iyerku naalaiku..[Yeah, its not for me today...Only for Iyengars it is Valentine's day today... Iyers celebrate it tomorrow]
